What's My Story?
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, I now live in Croatia where I continue to teach, create, explore, and perform. I spent more than ten years traveling the world as a professional aerialist for various companies and entertaining thousands. Eventually I moved to Berlin, Germany where I co-owned an aerial studio for three years while focusing on my coaching and choreographing skills. After eight years and many memories of Berlin, my husband and I moved to Croatia to start the next chapter.
What Do I Believe In?
Aerial has the incredible ability to transform and inspire. From my first swing on a trapeze through today, my life is constantly being changed because of this art form. I strive to have the same impact on clients, spectators, and students. I view aerial as a competition with yourself, not with others. Creativity is just as important than learning tricks, and I encourage my students to think for themselves, to experiment, and (most importantly) to fail. You cannot run before you walk; mastering the basics and moving slowly but surely is the best way to ensure safe, steady growth (and enjoyment!).
Experience quality
I could list all the fancy places that I've worked (you can find them on another page). But what I really learned and loved about performing is the focus and drive it helped me discover about myself. The need to be consistent and safe, and the ability to turn a passion into a profession.
I love being able to instill and foster the passion I have for aerial into others, whether they are spectators or students.
